The Opportunity
This role will collaborate with other Resource Management team members and our stakeholders involved with services delivery to ensure projects are adequately sourced (or outsourced) and staffed. This role is critical in ensuring that consultants, project managers, and all necessary resources (including outsourced partners) are fully utilized rationally and equitably. In the position, the person will ensure that management has a consistent and clear view of resource allocations. Consultants are assigned in a way that maximizes utilization, minimizes travel, and provides a balanced workload.
Customer Success at Nutanix
The Nutanix Resource Management Office team strongly influences the success of each Nutanix service delivery for its customers. The RMO function ensures success by engaging with Theater Leads, SDL’s, and PM’s, then leads the delivery process by being accountable for resource selections, and internal/external resource decisions. The right candidate will be a self-starter, has previous experience working with international peers, and is willing to go the extra mile to meet client satisfaction and project success.
Your Role
The Resource Coordinator role is a tactical role within their region by communicating, influencing, and positioning the RMO as a respected driver of project profitability and strong contributor to client satisfaction. This individual is expected to be proficient at most functions and be competent in all functions of the RMO. This individual will contribute to continuously improving resource management processes and functions, and will ensure that planning, management, and allocation of company and external resources are optimized. This role will regularly receive delegation responsibilities from the Global RMO Lead and supported daily by their peers.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Responsible for selecting the right resource for the right place at the right time.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to assist and support all RMO team members.
• Review resource data (open requests, existing allocations, availability, and forecast overviews) and identifies any issues.
• Contributes to continuous improvement meetings between the RMO and key stakeholders.
• Can effectively handle objections from stakeholders and resolve issues and is expected to resolve most issues without escalation.
• Has a keen understanding of when to escalate issues to the RMO Global Lead.
• Provides relevant input during regional conversations or meetings with confidence and clarity.
• Provides solutions to workload balancing, prioritization, and integration of resources into multiple projects to maintain optimal utilization of resources.
What You Will Bring
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Resource Manager (or equivalent) with a mastery of core responsibilities along with specific training and experience.
• A demonstratable take-charge attitude with a humble and honest approach
• Great communication skills that enable trust in building excellent relationships.
• Proven experience successfully implementing change in a cross-matrix environment
• Intermediate level of specific resource automation systems like Net-Suite and Kantata.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
